We are now offering businesses the opportunity to subscribe to our Understanding Developers service. Subscribers receive four reports a year, each based on developer attitudes and needs.

The project was a global survey of Wireless Data Developers. More than 1100 respondents, working for companies that focus on generating revenue through wireless data, completed a quick on-line survey.
The research was designed to
- evaluate the changing preferences of the wireless community
- find out how those preferences compare with current program offerings
- identify factors that influence application development choices regarding target devices and preferred platforms
All participants received a copy of the survey results, giving them a unique opportunity to see how their fellow developers view the industry on a global basis. In addition, they were all entered into a prize draw to win a free high-end mobile phone worth more than US$700 / €550. What was perhaps surprising was that participants felt that the opportunity to give their views was even more valuable to them than the chance of winning the prize.
A typical comment was, "I just want to say that you did great work with this survey. It's very interesting to find out that my main concerns/expectations are the same for most of the players on the mobile market."
