Recom study reveals excellent regard for Sony Ericsson developer support program
One of Recom’s most fascinating projects this year was an independent benchmark survey with the global third party wireless developer community. More than 1100 respondents, working for companies that focus on generating revenue through wireless data, completed a quick on-line survey.
The findings were cited when Sony Ericsson announced the successful ingredients of its Java Platform 7 (JP-7) mobile phones in June, which offer multitasking and market-leading gaming performance. JP-7 will enable developers to create compelling games and imaging applications for the company’s mobile phones.
The company’s global developer support program and web portal, Sony Ericsson Developer World, was found in the Recom study to be by far the leading technical resource for Mobile Java 3D development.
